Tsunami of His Shalom by Latimer Bowen

Tsunami of His Shalom by Latimer Bowen

In 2010, the Lord began showing me a huge Tsunami always at it's apex; always powerful, never breaking nor dissipating. Watching with wonder, I heard His voice say, "Tsunami." Mindful of the devastation caused by the 2004 tsunami that first hit the cost of northern Sumatra, Indonesia, a thought was forming: "I can't paint that; it is destructive." The Lord adjusted my thinking saying, "Constructive." I said, "Yes, Lord" ; and immediately began painting the Tsunami of His Affection, then the Tsunami of His Love, and then Tsunami of His Presence. I continued painting wave after wave of His Provision, His Glory, and most recently the Tsunami of The Shalom.

According to Strong's Concordance 7965 "Shalom means completeness, wholeness, health, peace, welfare, safety, soundness, tranquility, prosperity, perfectness, fullness, rest, harmony, the absence of agitation or discord. Shalom comes from the root verb shalom meaning to be complete, perfect, and full. In modern Hebrew the obviously related Shelem means to pay for, and Shulam means to be fully paid."

After the 2004 Indonesian tsunami, Scuba Diver Life reported that the best place to be during a tsunami is deep under the water. In one of my scuba diving magazines, several divers, unaware of what was coming, were out diving at a depth of 80 feet. Being deep, all that they experienced was a change in visibility. When they surfaced, the world, as they knew it, was gone.

Sensing a growing urgency, I painted as He directed. His story has never changed. Since the beginning He has sought each of us with His everlasting love; you are His deepest desire. He is urgently pleading for us to fully come, to come now seeking Him, His righteousness and His Kingdom.

Our obedience positions us to receive the optimum blessing for us and everyone around us.

A relationship with you is His deepest desire. He has been longing for you since the beginning. Wave after wave of His glory is coming. His living water is flowing. Will you accept His loving invitation to "Come. Come now?" The safest place in any tsunami is to be fully immersed and deep. My prayer for you is that you will choose to dive deeper, seeking only the King and His Kingdom!

Diving deeper into His delicious presence. Living an epic adventure. Yippee!!!
