A Father's Heart

I am still learning about my Daddy God’s heart. My earthly father died when I was young. He was a good man. Very loving and very strict. So for many years, this was all I could compare with what a father in heaven should be like. I was so very wrong in assuming anything close to this. I am now 59 years old, and on many occasions, I have experienced Daddy God's love for me in places when I was hurt and feeling alone, afraid and lost, worried and questioning what to do. I can look back and see that He was always there with me and still is. I wished I had discovered much earlier in my life that He is there always and for everything. I don’t think I could get through a day if Daddy God was not there for me to share my thoughts with and just talk with as my day goes on. God is concerned with every aspect of our life! No matter what, His heart is always in love with us, right here, right now. We will never have to “Do” anything to make Him love us. We never did anything to “Cause” Him to love us. We have all made mistakes in our life choices. God will not shake His finger at us in shame. Worldly people do those things. God will not do this. He will not fall out of love with you when you do something wrong! God wants to get you through tough times; to help you make good choices, experience wonderful things and have a full abundant life! God chose you. Not only did He choose you, but He created you special. You have something no one else has. You are created to be a special citizen of the Kingdom of Heaven!
I remember lying on the hood of my little 1969 Cougar in my front yard and looking up at the stars at night. Soooooooo beautiful! It was one of my favorite things to do. Even during the day I enjoyed watching the clouds move and thinking about how much more there was that I couldn’t see with my physical eyes. It all seemed so very vast! Wondering about God and exactly “Who is He really?” “What is my purpose in all this?” “I know there is more!” Haven’t we all had these questions at one time or another? We were all created to be kingdom minded.
“Seek His kingdom and all these things will be given unto you as well.”
“The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent and believe in the gospel.”
“No eye has seen, nor ear heard, nor the heart of man imagined, what God has purposed for those who love Him.”
Before we were placed on this earth, we started there with God and we will live forever, with God, if we so choose. God’s heart is for us to be there with Him in his kingdom. God wants to give you all the hopes and dreams that are continually urging us to reach, strive, to take our place in the kingdom of His heart. The world we live in wants to keep you distracted from God’s kingdom and have you fill your life with things that will never give you the peace you will only find in your Father God’s Heart. God and His kingdom are not separable. There cannot be one without the other. If you could grasp the thought that you were created to be a very important part of that vast, extremely big picture of the Kingdom, then you have upgraded yourself to a new level of understanding where God is calling you. Go deeper in the things of God.
“While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are temporal, but the things which are not seen are eternal.”
Grow beyond worldly knowledge. What a joy to be a part of something so wonderful. An eternal transformation that will continue to expand, and endure outside the limits of time for the good of all that is in the heart of Daddy God.
